Qualifications

• Six (6) years of full-time peace officer experience in law enforcement.
• Must possess Utah POST LEO Category 2 certification.
• Valid Utah driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and 24-hour on-call readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations: criminal and civil cases, evidence gathering, interviews, case preparation for prosecution.
• Collaborate with County Attorneys to evaluate evidence and develop investigative strategies.
• Support Critical Incident Task Force (CITF) and Child Abduction Response Team (CART).
• Conduct specialized interviews with children and adults; participate in multidisciplinary reviews.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and other agencies on high-profile cases.
• Respond to urgent situations, arrests, and other critical law enforcement duties.
