Job summary

Verst Logistics in Hebron Estates, KY is seeking a Lead Inventory Control to audit, pack, ship, report on and track all parts inventory, working closely with customers to ensure shipping accuracy.

Responsibilities include maintaining cycle counts, reconciling floor counts, completing paperwork on time, organizing warehouse operations, and handling defective products with corrective actions; forklift operation is required and overtime may be needed to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years forklift experience in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Ability to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately and provide instructions to others as needed.
• Ability to understand, follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ability to reach, bend, climb and lift up to 50lbs safely.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assure that accurate and efficient cycle counting is being carried out.
• Audit the counts from the floor and ensure return to stock is accurate.
• Complete required paperwork and reporting on time.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse and improving operations.
• Account for all defective or damaged product and follow corrective actions.
• Operate forklifts as required.
