Job summary

Verst in Hebron Estates, Kentucky seeks an Inventory Control Lead to maintain and track inventory, monitor cycle counts, and resolve label room issues. The role supports CSR requests and provides backup to the Inventory Manager to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

The position requires a high school diploma and forklift experience, with a 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:15pm, and pay at $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prefer 1–3 years of forklift experience in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to follow company policies and procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assure that accurate and efficient cycle counting is being carried out.
• Audit counts from the floor and ensure return to stock accuracy in the label room and on the floor.
• Review production kits to ensure inventory is on hand.
• Complete paperwork on cycle counts and inventory levels for inventory manager review.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse and improving inventory control operations.
• Account for defective or damaged product and take corrective actions.
• Provide cycle count backup support as needed.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and reduce turnaround times.
• Provide backup to Inventory Manager as needed.
• Participate in departmental meetings.
• Operate forklifts as required.

Must be comfortable with changing temperatures within a warehouse environment.

1st Shift hours - 6:00am to 2:15pm

Pay rate - $19.00/hr.

Position Summary:

Maintains and tracks all inventory. Monitors and resolves label room related issues. Keep the cycle count and label room associates on task and efficient. Other tasks to oversee are return to stock, special move projects and CSR requests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Assure that accurate and efficient cycle counting is being carried out.
2. Audits the counts that are coming back from the floor periodically and ensures that the return to stock in the label room and on the floor are accurate.
3. Reviews productions kits to ensure that inventory is on hand.
4. Completes required paperwork on cycle counts and inventory levels as needed for review by inventory manager.
5. Assists in the organization of warehouse and improvement of inventory control operations.
6. Accounts for all defective or damaged product and follows appropriate corrective actions.
7. If needed, will fill in and provide cycle count support.
8. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes
9. Provides backup support to Inventory Manager as needed.
10. Participates in departmental meetings.
11. Operate all forklifts as required.

Job Specifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prefer 1-3 years prior experience operating a forklift in a high-volume environment.
3. Able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
4. Ability to understand, follow, and enforce company policies and procedures.
