Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join the Cooperstown, NY staff. The role includes diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and outpatient clinic duties, with interest in TEE, coronary CT, and PERT interventions welcomed.

The position offers a busy cath lab, structural heart programs (TAVR, LAA closure, etc.), and teaching connections with Columbia University. Interventional call is 1 in 3 weekdays and 1 in 4 weekends.

Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS degree required and board eligibility/certification in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
• New York State licensure is required to practice.
• BLS certification is required; DEA registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Role includes diagnostic catheterization and coronary interventions; outpatient clinic duties.
• Interest in TEE, coronary CT, and PERT interventions welcomed.
• Interventional call is currently one in three weeknights and one in four weekends; participates in busy cath lab schedule including structural heart procedures.
