Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking a Structural Interventional Cardiologist to join our staff in Cooperstown, NY. The role includes diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR, LAA closure, and PFO closure, with outpatient practice as part of a teaching program.

The candidate will join an active cardiology department with 15 cardiologists and 2 cardiac surgeons; leadership opportunities exist, and there is an established

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS with board certification in cardiovascular disease (ABIM).
• Completion of an accredited USA Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
• NY licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure; BLS and DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic catheterization and coronary interventions.
• Structural heart procedures including TAVR, LAA closure, and PFO closure.
• Outpatient clinical practice integrated with an academic affiliation.
• Interest in TEE, coronary CT, and PERT procedures encouraged.
• Interventional on-call schedule: about one week in 3 nights and a quarter of weekends.
