Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network in Central New York is seeking a Structural Interventional Cardiologist to join our staff in Cooperstown, NY. You will perform diagnostic catheterization, coronary interventions and structural heart procedures including TAVR, LAA closure, and PFO closure, with outpatient clinical duties.

The faculty program includes 15 cardiologists, 2 cardiac surgeons, and 18 APPs, with teaching and leadership opportunities such as potential Division Chief.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS necessary for licensure in NY.
• Board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease completed.
• Current NY licensure or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization and coronary interventions.
• Conduct structural heart procedures including TAVR, LAA closure, and PFO closure.
• Maintain an outpatient clinical practice alongside interventional duties.
• Participation in interventional call on a 1 in 3 weeknights and 1 in 4 weekends.
