Job summary

Mi-Jack Products is seeking a Lead Erection Technician to lead on-site assembly and installation of intermodal heavy equipment, including gantry cranes, at customer sites such as ports and rail yards.

You will interpret complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics to diagnose, repair, and commission advanced systems. Expect rigorous safety standards and frequent travel, with opportunities for growth within a global company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies.
• Strong crane signaling experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet demanding deadlines.
• Physical stamina for climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute critical, large-scale projects at customer locations, including ports and rail yards.
• Lead and manage assembly and installation of intermodal heavy equipment, such as gantry cranes.
• Read and interpret complex electrical/hydraulic schematics to diagnose, repair, and commission systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections following OEM specifications.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer equipment requests and provide technical expertise.
• Uphold safety, railroad, and environmental regulations and obtain an E-Rail security clearance badge.
