Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Irvine to deliver innovative interior design projects from concept to construction. You will lead internal and external teams, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction as the primary contact.

Requirements include 10+ years in corporate/workplace/retail interiors, a degree in Architecture or related field, licensure or licensure track, and strong CAD/BIM skills with software like AutoCAD, Revit and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing corporate, workplace, retail and/or commercial interior design projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, or related field.
• Licensed Architect or in licensure process required.
• AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and Newforma.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from start to finish, serving as the project leader.
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design and construction documents.
• Provide construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.).
• Be the key client contact with the client, consultants and representatives.
• Perform local, county, state and federal project code searches and analysis.
• Ensure the financial success of all responsible projects.
• Be a technical resource on codes and construction to PMs/PAs.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, contractors, consultants, and team members.
• Mentor, train, and lead assigned team members.
• Create and lead a positive, team-oriented environment.
