Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking a full-time Risk & Insurance Manager to oversee the organization’s property and casualty program in-office. You will manage RMIS, coordinate claims with TPAs, and ensure regulatory compliance across states.

The role requires independent judgment, strong analytics, and collaboration with accounting and operations to optimize risk management and financial reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in claims administration, risk management, or insurance operations.
• Proficiency in RMIS and strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the lead administrator for RMIS, maintaining system integrity and coordinating with vendors.
• Reviews incident reports and determines claim submissions to carriers.
• Manages property and casualty claims with TPAs and cross-departmental support.
• Liaises with stakeholders; delivers strategic claim status updates and financial reconciliation.
• Collects data for insurance applications and policy audits with external brokers.
• Oversees processing of invoices, claim proceeds, and self-insurance fund reconciliation.
• Drives cross-functional risk mitigation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
• Develops and implements risk management initiatives aligned with strategy.
