Job summary

Target Hospitality Corp. is seeking an Insurance Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the national commercial insurance program, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and environmental lines.

This role collaborates with brokers, carriers, Legal, Safety/EHS, Operations, and Finance to place and maintain coverage, manage claims, and optimize total cost of risk across a nationwide portfolio of modular communities and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret loss runs, exposure data, and actuarial reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Safety, Operations, and Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; RMIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual renewal process for all commercial insurance lines in partnership with broker and underwriters.
• Analyze loss history and actuarial reports to inform program structure, retention, and deductible levels.
• Oversee end-to-end claims management, track status and reserves, and identify trends for loss control priorities.
• Review insurance requirements in customer, government, and vendor/subcontractor contracts to ensure coverage.
• Issue and audit certificates of insurance for company and subcontractors; verify coverage across sites.
• Partner with Safety/EHS and Operations to reduce workers' compensation and general liability claims.
• Support due diligence, program design, and placement for new business awards and capital projects.
• Monitor emerging risks (weather, wildfire, cyber) and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Prepare insurance cost budgets, forecasts, and accruals with Finance.
