Job summary

Bold Penguin is a leading digital broker for commercial insurance. The role focuses on owning the coverage ontology, developing ISO rubrics, and aligning form registries to support broker proposals, quotes, and tower analysis with audit-ready governance.

Reporting to and collaborating with brokers, underwriters, and carriers, you will translate expert coverage judgment into scalable, versioned data structures used by AI-powered tools, while maintaining high standards of accuracy and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in commercial insurance coverage.
• JD preferred.
• Deep working knowledge of ISO standard forms and endorsements across lines.

Responsibilities

• Own the coverage ontology end to end, including entity model and clause taxonomy.
• Build and maintain ISO rubrics for classification and comparison.
• Establish registries for forms, editions and endorsements, including versioning and change control.
• Develop form templates and delta structures to compare carrier wording.
• Define coverage logic for multi-carrier quote comparison and policy verification.
• Partner with product and engineering to translate ontology into schemas and interfaces.
