Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Lead for Insurance Underwriting & Loss Ontology. This onsite role (4 days/week) focuses on defining, governing, and advancing the enterprise ontology for insurance data across underwriting, exposure, and loss information.

You will collaborate with business leaders, data consumers, and technology teams to ensure semantic alignment and data integrity across the organization. The role emphasizes domain expertise in insurance data standards, governance, and cross‑system data

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in insurance data standards and ontology design.
• Experience building enterprise data models, schemas, and data dictionaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop, govern, and advance insurance data ontology across coverage, exposure, underwriting, claims, and loss.
• Lead data integration from internal, carrier, and third‑party sources to align with ontology standards.
• Define governance rules, data quality, and lineage for enterprise data assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business concepts into enterprise data structures and rules.
• Support analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives with consistent data definitions and logic.
• Stay updated on ACORD, IVANS and industry data standards to incorporate changes.
