Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Lead – Insurance Underwriting & Loss Ontology, onsite 4 days per week, to define and govern the enterprise data ontology for underwriting, exposure, and loss information across the organization. You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, agency, and data teams to enable trusted analytics and AI-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes governance, domain modeling, and data standardization to support enterprise reporting and decision making.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in insurance risk evaluation, binding, servicing, and loss outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Coverage, Exposure, Underwriting, Claims, and Loss domain ontology across Acrisure's retail, wholesale, and specialty units.
• Design data integration of first-, second-, and third-party data into the ontology, with standards and mappings for internal data, carrier data, and external sources.
• Establish governance standards for underwriting, exposure, coverage, claims, and loss data to ensure trusted, standardized enterprise use.
• Lead onboarding and alignment of underwriting, policy, claims, carrier, exposure, and loss data across source systems to enable consistent domain data for reporting and analytics.
• Partner with analytics, BI, data science, and AI teams to translate concepts into trusted data assets, metrics, and derived calculations.
• Stay current with industry standards (ACORD, IVANS) and regulatory data requirements to ensure ontology supports compliant data exchange.
