Bowman invites applications for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer IV to join our team in Houston, TX. This leadership role provides technical direction, mentorship, and integration of instrumentation and control strategies across projects.

You will size equipment, develop controls philosophy, review designs, and present deliverables to internal teams, clients, and vendors. Strong English communication and PE-leaning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
7+ years of relevant experience.
PE license preferred.
Strong knowledge of instrument and controls engineering.
Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment sizing and selection and analyses.
Support engineering, design, procurement, construction, commissioning.
Present deliverables to project members and stakeholders.
Plan and forecast deliverable progress for reporting.
Identify scope changes and estimate impact.
Support proposals by evaluating RFP scope and estimating effort.
Work independently.
Prepare instrumentation equipment, conduit, wiring calculations, BOMs, and designs.
Develop Operating Controls Philosophy and diagrams, review HMI and network architecture.
