Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to guide the design and delivery of complex Oil & Gas projects in Texas. You will develop key I&C deliverables, provide technical leadership, and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers through design, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.

The role requires a PE license in Texas and extensive EPC project experience to ensure successful project delivery and compliant, safe systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead development of I&C engineering deliverables (Instrument Indexes, I/O Lists, DCS, SIS, C&E matrices, control narratives, datasheets, specs).
• Serve as technical lead for instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering issues and solutions.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure quality, schedule, and cost compliance.
• Support procurement with technical guidance and scope requirements to suppliers.
• Oversee QA/QC and verify documentation before inspections.
• Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.

• Serve as the technical lead for instrumentation, controls, and electrical engineering issues and solutions.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is delivered in compliance with quality, schedule, and cost requirements.
• Support procurement activities by providing technical guidance and scope requirements to suppliers.
• Oversee QA/QC processes and verify engineering and project documentation prior to inspections.
• Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
