Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Supervisor Instructional Design and Development to guide the ID/Dev team in Altamonte Springs. You will oversee the creation of eLearning, video production, simulations, and instructor-led training, ensuring quality and outcomes across programs.

You will collaborate with SMEs, manage projects, and apply adult learning principles and LMS analytics. This on-site role offers hybrid scheduling and full-time benefits in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Expertise with course authoring software and eLearning design best practices.
• Experience with test building, graphics, and Level 1-3 interactivity including branching and scenarios.
• Knowledge of HTML and SharePoint is a plus.
• 5+ years in healthcare education and learning systems software/technology-based learning development.
• 5+ years with project management practices and software (MS Project or pm tools).
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate products.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and managerial guidance to the Instructional Design/Development team.
• Develops and enforces instructional design standards and best practices.
• Oversees eLearning courses, video production, immersive simulations, and ILT.
• Ensures quality through evaluation and feedback of programs.
• Manages projects based on team expertise and priorities.
• Coordinates with LMS for proper course functionality and UX.
• Develops training materials including videos, job aids, and manuals.
• Stays current on trends in adult learning and instructional design.
