Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Teacher to lead and mentor in the classroom, implement the curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with families and work with center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement.

The role requires a CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and a degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy required.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• English communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
