Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Program Manager to advance consumer lending systems and programs, designing strategies for growth and value for members. The role involves managing third‑party lending software, collaborating with IT, Risk, Compliance, and other business units to drive innovation and process improvements.

You will oversee complex analytics, data mapping, and automation efforts, ensuring audits and regulatory documentation are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• “Master’s degree considered a plus” is noted in education section.
• Ten years of consumer lending or financial services experience, with at least five years in progressive leadership.
• Three years of experience in analysis and reporting of statistical data.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new loan programs and strategies to advance long-term loan growth.
• Oversee requirements analysis, system maintenance, documentation, and testing for lending enhancements.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Applications, IT, Credit Risk, Digital Delivery and Retail Delivery on innovations and improvements.
• Perform vendor management oversight, risk assessments, and due diligence as needed.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maximize system capabilities.
• Audit configuration controls and support regulatory documentation.
• Conduct data management, data mapping, and process improvement efforts.
• Drive automation and enhancements to improve the member and employee loan experience.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and vendor monitoring requirements.
• Communicate with stakeholders and hold vendors accountable for goals and service levels.
