Job summary

AmbaFlex is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead daily injection molding operations, coordinating people, materials, machines, molds, and production schedules to deliver high-quality parts.

Reporting to the Injection Mold & Maintenance Manager, you will drive safety, 6S workplace organization, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum5 years of injection molding manufacturing experience.
• Minimum2 years of supervisory experiencein a production environment.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling, materials, machines, and quality requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including spreadsheets, production reporting, ERP/MRP systems, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily injection molding operations and coordinate people, materials, machines, molds, and production schedules.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, PPE requirements, and LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet customer and business requirements.
• Schedule and prioritize jobs, machine utilization, mold changeovers, and staffing needs.
• Monitor production performance and adjust resources as needed to meet production goals.
• Ensure products meet established quality standards and monitor cycle times, scrap, downtime, and process performance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, downtime reporting, scrap tracking, and labor reporting.
• Verify inventory accuracy and material availability; support ERP/MRP system transactions and reporting requirements.
• Lead, coach, and support production employees; provide performance feedback and training.
