Job summary

Randstad USA in NE Georgia seeks a Plastic Injection Molding Shift Supervisor to lead a large shop-floor team in a fast-paced automotive parts plant. You will oversee machine setups, process controls, and safety, driving quality and throughput while coaching operators.

This role requires 3+ years in plastic injection molding and 5+ years in supervision, with a Monday–Friday first shift from 8 AM to 4 PM and a salary between $65,000 and $75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on automotive plastic injection molding experience.
• 5+ years in a supervisory role managing associates, equipment, and materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, cross-department collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and drive to improve floor ops.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor direct and indirect shop-floor associates.
• Oversee daily injection molding operations, setups, and controls.
• Ensure cycle times, packaging specs, and quality standards.
• Perform root-cause analysis and uphold 5S standards.
• Coach operators on procedures, safety, and best practices.
• Maintain shift reports, track labor, and align with plant goals.
• Develop team culture and ensure timely communication with management.
