Job summary

Marelli is seeking an Injection Molding Shift Manager for the Pulaski, TN site, reporting to the Pre-Production Manager. You will direct a team in daily operations, ensuring quality parts for customers, addressing minor maintenance needs, and completing required documentation.

You will oversee production schedules, coach staff for safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and lead defect analysis with corrective actions. This role offers growth within a global automotive supplier.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills and ability to coach production staff.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production schedules are followed while complying with policies and requirements.
• Directly supervise production employees to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Lead analysis of defects and implement corrective actions.
• Manage KPIs and drive continuous improvement using PDCA and problem-solving methods.
• Ensure timely execution of production plans to meet customer needs.
• Provide training and development opportunities to staff.
• Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams.
