Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive modernization of mission-critical systems on a global scale. You will lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment, architect changes with partner platforms, and provide on-call support while upholding firm standards.

You will apply deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering concepts, collaborate across platforms, and champion a culture of respect and opportunity within Corporate Infrastructure Platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Infrastructure Engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Deep IBM zSeries Platform, IBM MQ and IBM Integration Bus design and implementation.
• Experience with IBM MQ administration across multiple applications.
• Knowledge of queue managers, queues, channels, and queue sharing groups.
• Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication; ability to collaborate.
• Understanding RACF/ACF2 security.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support as part of a global rotation.
• Develop, create, and deploy infrastructure changes.
• Apply problem-solving methodologies to incidents and projects.
• Drive a workstream of infra technologies.
• Collaborate with other platforms to modernize processes.
