Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer in Irving, TX, to design, automate, and operate our hybrid cloud and Kubernetes platforms. You will build reusable patterns, shift compute from VMs to containers, and enable GitOps-driven delivery.

You will partner with security and application teams to ensure secure, scalable, and developer-friendly solutions, while mentoring engineers and advancing platform automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• 2+ years hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• 3+ years with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Tekton.
• 3+ years working with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, RHACM).
• Experience with container orchestration, hybrid clouds (Azure, GCP), and Linux.
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs and integrating automation.
• Solid networking, security, and compliance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering & Architecture contribution.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms, cluster operations, add-ons, Helm charts, and deployment standards.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules using Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
• Support hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure or GCP) per guidelines.
• Contribute to workload migration from VMs to containers.
• Implement declarative, API-driven infrastructure with GitOps workflows.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and platform lifecycle tasks.
• Leverage observability tooling to improve performance and incident response.
• Participate in on-call rotations, RCAs, and reliability improvements.
• Maintain cluster security, RBAC, policy enforcement, and compliance.
• Design and implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or RHACM.
• Build self-service platform capabilities via APIs and templates.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Tekton).
• Provide guidance and onboarding to teams adopting Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
