Job summary

NTT DATA Services seeks a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid role in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC, supporting Dallas, TX and surroundings. You will steer Kubernetes platforms, drive IaC automation, and enable GitOps-driven delivery across environments.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, platform reliability, and reusable patterns, while collaborating with security and application teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• 2+ years hands-on Kubernetes experience (cluster ops, tooling).
• 3+ years with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Tekton.
• 3+ years working with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, RHACM).
• Experience with container orchestration, hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and Linux systems.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs and integrating automation into platform workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms and deployment standards.
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules and templates with IaC tools.
• Support hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure or GCP) per architectural guidelines.
• Contribute to workload migrations from VMs to containers.
• Design GitOps workflows and self-service platform capabilities.
