Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ, seeks an Information Security Systems Engineer to apply system security engineering across design, development, and integration to sustain secure architectures. You will prepare artifacts for certification and authorization, work with customers to define requirements, and lead RMF/A&A activities in a lab environment.

The role requires collaboration with developers and vendors, on-site work, and a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Experience leading RMF accreditation efforts and A&A artifacts.
• Experience with cyber defense tools and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience in DoD software selection and procurement (COTS/GOTS/FOSS).

Responsibilities

• Lead security and privacy control assessments for embedded systems (NIST 800-53).
• Support RMF A&A processing and BoE package development.
• Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation against standards.
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to define security needs and solutions.
• Maintain security perimeters and monitor environments in lab settings.
• Represent security needs in customer meetings.
