Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a security-focused engineer to define, design, implement, document, test, and sustain security solutions for government systems. You will work with developers and vendors to assess security controls, perform threat analysis, and ensure RMF alignment using NIST SPs.

The role emphasizes hands-on security engineering, threat hunting, and ongoing accreditation activities, with a strong on-site requirement in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred or 10+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain SAP clearance required.
• DoD 8140.03 Level 3 or 4 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform incident response and cyber threat identification per NIST RMF and SPs.
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and related RMF artifacts.
• Assess and implement security controls across computing/network nodes and verify implementations.
