Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, System Security Engineer to apply modern security engineering methods to the architecture, design, development, and integration of secure systems. The role supports government customers to define and implement security requirements early in the life cycle, aiming for security authorization of the system of interest, in a 100% onsite lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience; graduate degree with 4+ years.
• Collateral Secret clearance required.
• Experience with RMF accreditation and A&A processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Certification and Accreditation documentation using RMF and DoD frameworks.
• Collaborate with government customers, developers, and leadership to address security needs.
• Assess security controls using NIST 800-53 and manage CPI protection.
• Support security engineering activities, including design, testing, and maintenance of secure systems.
• Onsite lab work with no remote options.
