L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Information Security Systems Engineer for Clifton, NJ. The role focuses on applying security engineering methods to architectures, designs, and integrations to achieve security authorizations throughout the system lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading RMF/A&A efforts, developing C&A artifacts, and ensuring 100% onsite work in a lab environment. Requires TS/SCI and DoD security experience with a strong background in securing DoD systems.

Qualifications

• Experience leading RMF A&A processes with NIST 800-53 controls.
• Knowledge of DoD software acquisition (COTS, GOTS, FOSS).
• Ability to develop and deliver Certification & Accreditation artifacts and BoE packages.
• Onsite lab work only; no remote support.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment activities for security and privacy controls in embedded systems using NIST 800-53.
• Navigate RMF accreditation steps 1-4 and BoE package development and A&A processing.
• Prepare security documentation and participate in customer meetings to represent program security needs.
• Support security engineering activities including design, testing, and configuration management of information systems.
• Collaborate as IPTL/CAM with EVMS and program planning.
