Job summary

Celebree School™ in Columbia is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to nurture early development and provide developmentally appropriate experiences in a warm, supportive classroom. You will guide infants and toddlers, implement age-appropriate activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment from Monday to Friday, 9:30am–6:30pm, with no nights or weekends.

You will also help mentor classroom aides and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities alongside infants, offering guidance and support.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Provide a welcoming classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement age-appropriate, thorough lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and inviting space for curiosity.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, reports, supervision records, and attendance.

Responsibilities

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications
