Job summary

Celebree School in Elkridge, MD, is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to nurture early development and provide developmentally appropriate experiences for infants and toddlers.

You will help guide classroom Aides and implement Celebree’s infant curriculum while upholding regulatory standards and fostering a warm, engaging environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and childcare licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities alongside infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they begin walking.
• Maintain the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards.
• Provide a welcoming, friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
• Ensure the classroom is safe, clean, and inviting to foster curiosity.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance.

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
