Job summary

Celebree School of Henrico is seeking an Infant/Toddler Teacher to shape early development in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate setting. You’ll weave Celebree’s vision, mission, and values into daily activities and support aides on their path into early childhood education.

You will guide infants and toddlers through engaging, age-appropriate experiences while maintaining a safe, clean classroom and collaborating with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet the lead teacher requirements as approved by the governing State agency.
• Knowledge of behavioral and developmental stages of children and licensing requirements.
• Ability to manage a classroom with strong organizational and communication skills; patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Navigate the day's activities alongside our infants, offering gentle guidance and support as they navigate their first steps.
• Manage the Infant classroom ensuring compliance with all Office of Child Care regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for all children, parents, and visitors.
• Create and implement thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum
• Ensure the classroom is a safe, clean, and inviting space where curiosity can flourish.
• Accurately complete all paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking
