Qualifications

• Speak, read and write English.
• First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CDA for Infants/Toddlers required.
• 3 years’ experience with infants and toddlers.
• Must be 18+ and have no criminal record.
• Clear TB and physical before start.

Responsibilities

• In charge of the assigned Early Head Start classroom.
• Oversee overall operation and management of the classroom.
• Work in a team to ensure curriculum activities meet program standards.
• Ensure proper nutrition for all children.
• Maintain records for individual children.
• Care for classroom equipment, materials and supplies.
• Develop daily/weekly lesson plans.
• Attend staff training and conferences when needed.
• Support Head Start families’ healthy wellbeing and academic success.
