Job summary

Guidepost Montessori in Blue Ash, Ohio, seeks a Lead Infant Guide for our mixed-age infant classroom (0–3 years). You will thoughtfully prepare the environment, observe each child, and provide individualized care that honors their rhythms and needs. Lead and collaborate with staff to build a warm, family-centered Montessori community.

Qualifications

• Eligible for Montessori certification sponsorship through our institute.
• Experience working with infants aged 0–3 in care settings.
• Alignment with Montessori or similar child-led philosophies.
• Requires ECE credits or equivalent coursework.
• Enrolled in or completed a 2-year child development program.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child to support physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Respect natural rhythms for sleep, feeding, and toileting.
• Prepare and maintain an orderly environment that fosters trust and exploration.
• Encourage independence by involving children in care activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate with parents to support growth and development.
• Lead and cooperate with the classroom team to foster a respectful community.
