Americold Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced industrial refrigeration technician to perform advanced maintenance and repair across our warehouses in New Jersey. You will set up, monitor, troubleshoot, and replace components in ammonia-based systems, while ensuring safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
You will coach junior technicians, coordinate with contractors, and help drive operational excellence initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience.
- HAZMAT training and certification required.
- Experience troubleshooting control systems such as ALTA and Allen-Bradley.
- Experience maintaining records within a CMMS.
Responsabilités
- Define and set up operational settings for refrigeration equipment.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Replace components with proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- Perform routine and complex maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA.
- Oversee internal/external technicians and assist in training.
- Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance records and participate in initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
