Job summary

CRH is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee the repair and upkeep of plant machinery and electrical systems. You will lead workers across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance, ensuring repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ordering parts, and coordinating with the Plant Manager for approvals and maintenance planning. A strong background in PLCs and welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs; coordinate with Plant Manager for approvals.
• Inspect production equipment daily and test malfunctioning machinery.
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls and circuit boards; install components and test.
• Maintain safety guidelines and keep work areas clean and orderly.
