Job summary

CRH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of plant equipment and tools. You will inspect, adjust, and repair production machinery, weld as needed, and replace faulty components to keep operations running smoothly.

Successful candidates will have technical training, hands-on tool proficiency, and the ability to work under challenging conditions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair production equipment and machinery.
• Install, adjust, and repair equipment and machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and discuss repairs with supervisor.
• Observe equipment and identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Dismantle equipment to access faulty parts and replace components.
• Lubricate and clean parts to ensure proper operation.
• Work under extreme conditions including hot or cold temperatures.
