Food manufacturer located in east Louisville is seeking an experienced manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic with strong mechanical & electrical skills.

Primary responsibility :

Repair, maintain and perform routine maintenance on production, packaging equipment and facility maintenance. Perform all repairs and maintenance throughout the facility. Work with preventive / predictive maintenance system to keep operating equipment in good condition.

Requirements

Must have:

• A minimum of 5 years successful recent plant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass electrician competency test.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, computer, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong electrical background in addition to mechanical skills.
• Experience with computerized or automated controls and the ability to read electric schematics.
• Fabrication skills and welding experience.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated stable work history.
• This is primarily a first shift position; however, candidates must be able to work any shift, including weekends and on-call schedules.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, climb, and kneel throughout shift.
• Able to work in hot, wet, and cool conditions.
