Job summary

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components to push innovation. We analyze workflows to improve efficiencies, partner with leadership, and implement plans to optimize facilities and labor utilization.

The role emphasizes manufacturing site engineering, cost control, and continuous improvement through lean methods and Six Sigma initiatives. US Persons required due to DoD work; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with BS in designated Engineering or related field.
• 1-3+ years of AutoCAD experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Oversee the industrial engineering of two manufacturing sites.
• Works closely with business line leadership to prepare reports, conduct root cause analysis, and perform program reviews.
• Focuses on labor, efficiencies, and flow through production lines to assist operations teams.
• Acts as a liaison between operations and facilities to maximize equipment efficiency and capacity.
• Support capital projects when adding new equipment and implementing site improvements.
• Assist continuous improvement projects through lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and six sigma initiatives.
• Follows specific, detailed instructions and/or guidance from senior functional staff.
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems by following standardized practices and procedures.
