Location: Fort Atkinson, WI | Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift, On-site | Compensation: $42.00 - $44.00/hr + daily overtime and double-time Sundays

Overview

This direct-hire role serves as the top technical authority for electrical safety, code compliance, and automation uptime across the plant, offering long-term stability and strong overtime earning potential for electricians looking to leave unpredictable construction or service-route work.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the primary 2nd shift technical authority for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plant electrical infrastructure, automated panels, and control circuits
• Trace complex electrical schematics and blueprints to rapidly diagnose component failures and minimize production downtime
• Perform all electrical repairs, rewiring, hardware updates, and component upgrades in strict accordance with NEC guidelines
• Log daily shift maintenance activity, complete preventative maintenance (PM) workflows, and update electrical drawings to reflect field modifications
• Safely access, inspect, and service overhead power distribution networks using ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts
• Maintain an organized workstation adhering to 5S standards, allergen controls, and high-hygiene manufacturing protocols

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in automated manufacturing, packaging, or continuous-processing facilities
• Expert ability to read and interpret multi-page electrical schematics, three-phase power diagrams, and control logic prints
• Practical experience diagnosing issues across automated packaging networks, VFDs, sensors, motor control centers (MCCs), and conveyor systems
• Full comfort working at heights, operating aerial lifts, and managing high-voltage electrical enclosures safely
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required
• Must reside within a 45-minute daily driving radius of the Fort Atkinson, WI area

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in food manufacturing, beverage processing, or similar highly regulated hygiene/safety environments preferred
• State Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license
• Basic monitoring and troubleshooting experience on Allen-Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000 PLC platforms
• Desire to leverage 100% company-paid tuition reimbursement for advanced automation or electrical engineering coursework

Compensation and benefits

• $42.00 to $44.00/hr starting baseline
• Daily overtime at 1.5x after 8 hours/day
