Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver in The Dalles/Hood River areas to cover critical shifts and train new caregivers. The role requires short-notice availability across assigned branches, with a focus on delivering high-quality in-home care and support.

You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, taking on lead duties, and training new staff. Competitive pay and comprehensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Ability to transport clients in their own vehicle.
• Own a smartphone capable of downloading and using a mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living such as cleaning, laundry, dishes.
• Assist with cooking and serving meals and personal care.
• Provide companionship and engage in daily activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients to store or appointments when needed.
• Monitor and report client condition and needs to the team.
• Fill in as needed and train new caregivers.
• Handle client intakes and support onboarding.
