Job summary

The Resurrection Project invites applications for Senior Director, Immigrant Justice Legal Clinic to lead a 35–40 person legal team in delivering ethical, high-quality immigration services. You will shape strategy, mentor staff, and collaborate with leadership to advance community impact in Chicago.

You will guide program development, training, and external partnerships, while managing budgets and data reporting to ensure program success and sustained funding.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree and bar admission; 10+ years in immigration legal services or management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal, analytical, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Internet.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and build relationships across diverse groups.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 35–40 legal staff.
• Lead program development and strategic planning for the clinic.
• Ensure ethical, high-quality legal services and proper client record keeping.
• Support Attorneys in training, mentoring, and supervision of staff and volunteers.
• Oversee external advocacy and community engagement aligned with community needs.
• Develop and monitor protocols to expand immigration services.
• Guide policy development and implementation for the organization.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation with Finance and Admin teams.
• Drive data collection and reporting to meet funding requirements.
