Job summary

TRP Immigrant Justice is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Immigrant Justice Legal Clinic in Chicago. You will shape legal strategy, mentor a team of 35–40 staff, and ensure high-quality services aligned with organizational mission.

You will oversee program development, budgets, data, and external partnerships, while maintaining ethical standards and strong community engagement. JD and 10+ years in immigration law are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and 10+ years in immigration legal services or management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong leadership, communications, and organizational skills.
• Experience building programs, supervising staff, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of IJLC legal services and strategy.
• Mentor, train, and supervise 35–40 legal staff and interns.
• Develop program systems, budgets, and data monitoring.
• Engage external partners, funders, and community stakeholders.
