Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Lead Image Technician to supervise an Image Crew across approximately 40 store locations within the region. You will oversee maintenance, repairs, painting, and facility‑improvement tasks, reporting major issues via Service Channel.

Based at the Fort Myers area home store (5150 Dr. MLK Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33905), you’ll lead a team, ensure safety compliance, and maintain attractive store presentation while coordinating with store operations and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures.
• Experience supporting maintenance needs in a retail environment.
• Maintenance or repair certifications preferred.
• Ability to lead an Image Crew with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Image Crew and provide day-to-day directions to the Image Technician.
• Drive as primary driver of crew vehicle; Image Technician as secondary driver.
• Inspect buildings and structures to identify malfunctions and repair needs.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance (switches, outlets, bulbs, etc.).
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance (leaks, drains, hoses).
• Complete minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
• Prepare and paint walls, refrigerators, floors, doors, and other structures.
• Order parts, maintain inventory, and document accordingly.
• Report equipment repair needs through Service Channel.
• Adhere to RaceTrac safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
