Job summary

RaceTrac seeks a Lead Image Technician to head the Image Crew across approximately 40 store locations in the region. The role involves directing daily maintenance, repairs, painting, and facility updates and reporting larger issues through Service Channel.

The candidate should have multiple years of maintenance experience, ability to lead, strong customer service, and the physical ability to lift heavy items.

Qualifications

• Four, or more, years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Comfort using common hand and power tools, as well as basic office equipment, is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• General maintenance knowledge and familiarity with repair procedures is preferred.
• Experience supporting maintenance needs in a retail environment is preferred.
• Maintenance or repair certifications are preferred.
• Ability to lead an Image Crew, provide clear direction, and complete work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move between 75 and 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Team Lead for the Landscape Technician; serve as primary driver of the crew vehicle.
• Provide day-to-day directions to the Image Technician and oversee repairs.
• Inspect buildings for malfunctions and perform minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Complete painting, carpentry, masonry work and surface prep.
• Order parts, maintain inventory, and document activities; report needs via Service Channel.
