Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Project Engineer for a full-time role in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid position offers long-term growth and the chance to lead multi-discipline teams on industrial projects.

You will specify sensors, PLCs, HMIs, control systems, review P&IDs, coordinate EPC contractors, and ensure safety compliance with ISA/NEC standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, instrumentation, controls engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
• 7+ years of instrumentation and controls experience in industrial or process industries.
• Experience leading I&C projects from engineering through commissioning and startup.

Aufgaben

• Instrumentation: specify sensors, analyzers, valves, and actuators.
• Automation & controls: manage PLCs, HMIs, I/O, networks, alarms, interlocks, shutdowns.
• Engineering design: review P&IDs, data sheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams.
• Project leadership: coordinate EPC contractors, system integrators, vendors, and internal teams.
• Electrical coordination: handle interfaces with MCCs, power supplies, grounding.
• Testing & commissioning: oversee FAT, SAT, calibration, loop checks, startup.
• Safety & compliance: ensure ISA, NEC, NFPA, OSHA and hazardous-area requirements.
