Job summary

Roguesearch in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer for industrial construction. This hybrid role offers the chance to lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls design across large-scale projects, with limited travel and integral involvement from FEED through startup.

You will develop SLDs, MV/LV/ELV systems, P&ID review, and coordination with process, mechanical, and civil teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering is required.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in industrial construction or EPC.
• Experience with MV/LV/ELV systems and design/commissioning.
• Experience with major control platforms such as AVEVA Wonderware or Ignition.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEC, ISA, IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical, instrumentation, and controls designs for industrial projects.
• Prepare SLDs, load calculations, and cable sizing.
• Coordinate MV/LV/ELV systems and switchgear installation.
• Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and startup activities.
• Provide site support, inspections, and issue resolution.
