Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking a Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer to join our Life Science & Advanced Manufacturing team in the Atlanta area (Peachtree Corners, GA; Atlanta/Smyrna, GA; or Charlotte, NC). The role focuses on designing instrumentation and controls for batch and continuous chemical processes across the United States, with opportunities to expand expertise.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant experience, and PE/ISA CAP are preferred.

Qualifications

• PE preferred; ISA CAP preferred.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• Experience in the consulting design industry at an A&E firm.
• Experience in chemical industries with discussable projects.
• Ability to specify instrumentation and perform sizing calculations.
• Ability to specify control systems and follow industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instrumentation and controls packages for batch and continuous processes.
• Lead an engineering team through the project development cycle.
• Interact with clients and provide engineering recommendations in a consultant role.
