Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Construction Project Manager to drive the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center projects from planning through commissioning. The role is on-site and requires coordinating owners, designers, contractors, and utilities to meet safety, schedule and budget goals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of PM experience on mission-critical sites, strong leadership and communication skills, and OSHA certification. Travel may be required as project demands dictate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years PM experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience managing all project phases including preconstruction to closeout.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of hyperscale data center projects from concept to completion.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk to meet objectives.
• Provide day-to-day construction oversight across all phases.
• Coordinate activities among architects, engineers, contractors, utilities and commissioning teams.
• Facilitate meetings, document minutes, track actions and report status.
• Analyze performance and develop reports on schedule, cost, safety and quality.
• Review contracts, drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Lead change management: evaluation, negotiation and approval of changes.
• Review invoices, payments and cost forecasts with finance.
• Monitor safety and quality compliance during construction.
• Manage project controls: scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, EV, reporting.
• Coordinate commissioning and turnover of critical systems.
• Support utility coordination and infrastructure implementation.
• Resolve complex construction and operational challenges.
