Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX seeks a Day-Shift, full-time Lead Hyperbaric Technician to administer HBO therapy and manage chamber operations. The role includes overseeing safety, maintenance, and materials used around hyperbaric chambers, reporting to the Program Director.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in hyperbaric medicine, currentCHT/CHS certification or ability to obtain within 180 days, and a strong focus on patient safety and team leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hyperbaric medicine or the diving industry.

Responsibilities

• Administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Provider.
• Responsible for safe and effective operation of hyperbaric chambers and related systems.
• Oversees day-to-day maintenance of chambers and materials assessment around hyperbaric areas.
• Leads safety program for the clinic as Safety Director under NFPA 99.
