Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and oversee safe chamber operations. The role includes maintaining equipment and supporting wound care under clinical supervision.

The position requires a high school diploma with medical assistant training, plus a 1-year clinical background. Advanced HBOT training and ACLS are preferred, along with EPIC EMR experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and completed a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Completion of introductory hyperbaric medicine training within 30 days of hire from an approved program.
• 1 year of acute clinical experience preferred in related settings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate hyperbaric chambers and related support systems.
• Deliver hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the provider.
• Maintain day-to-day operation of hyperbaric chambers and assist with wound care as needed.
